Overview

The Partner Engineer, Payments at Meta is a role for impact-focused, entrepreneurial engineers who blend technical expertise with business acumen. In this role, you will work at the intersection of business and innovation to solve real-world business challenges through Meta's platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Payment partners to design and integrate world-class payment experiences.
  • Engage with technical teams at FinTechs, banks, and regulators to represent payment user interests.
  • Develop scalable, production-grade code and improve existing products.
  • Build and maintain capabilities to drive product adoption and spend growth.
  • Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Mentor peers, participate in code reviews, and influence product roadmaps.
  • Represent Meta in industry events and partner meetings.
  • Travel up to 20% as needed.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer delivering production quality code.
  • Proficiency in open source languages such as PHP, Python, Android, Swift, Java or JavaScript.
  • Experience in designing and architecting end-to-end systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Experience in partnering with clients and technical teams for delivering scalable, reliable solutions.
  • Knowledge of payment technologies in India (e.g., UPI, NetBanking, RuPay) is a plus.
