About the Role
The Network Engineer Operations and Support role at Meta is part of the ENS Operations Team, responsible for automating processes, ensuring zero touch operations, and driving efficiency across a global network supporting billions of users.
Key Responsibilities
- Incident Response: Investigate complex technical and process issues on a global scale.
- Escalation Management: Participate in Tier 3 and 4 on-call rotation and improve processes.
- Operational Leadership: Drive improvements, manage large workforces, and enforce compliance standards.
- Risk & Data Assurance: Align operations with reliability, security, and regulatory policies.
- Automation & Data Measurement: Identify automation opportunities and analyze operational metrics.
- Collaboration & Partnership: Work closely with internal teams and external vendors.
- Roadmap & Technical Leadership: Own strategy, conduct root cause analysis, and lead cross-functional projects.
- Travel: Up to 15% domestic and international travel may be required.
Minimum Qualifications
At least 7 years of leadership experience in a global Network or IT Operations Center. Advanced knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.), CDN & Edge technologies, and hands-on repair operations. Basic coding skills in Python, Go or JavaScript are required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in varied infrastructure environments, digital transformation, vendor partnerships, data-driven analysis, and operational risk management. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is desirable.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary ranges from $133,000/year to $190,000/year plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Individual compensation is determined by skills, experience, and location.
