About the Role

The Information Architect at Meta will design and lead transformational technology solutions that revolutionize how our global workforce accesses, creates, and leverages organizational knowledge. This role is part of the HR Technology team within Global People Operations and focuses on creating scalable, secure, and easy-to-maintain content and knowledge systems by leveraging AI, machine learning, advanced analytics, and innovative content strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Create and use AI to enhance content systems for personalized delivery.
  • Build detailed content maps including taxonomies and ontologies for AI applications.
  • Develop smart content APIs enabling seamless knowledge sharing.
  • Plan content system evolution with generative AI, smart search, and predictive analytics.
  • Design connected knowledge systems integrating HR tools and wider company platforms.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX researchers, and stakeholders to transform ideas into tech solutions.
  • Lead projects to deliver proactive, automated employee assistance.
  • Set technical standards for content reuse, API development, and system integration.
  • Innovate new delivery methods such as voice interfaces and augmented reality overlays.
  • Analyze emerging content tech trends to influence long-term strategies.
  • Develop and deploy scalable solutions for content lifecycle management and quality control.
  • Partner with Engineering and leadership to deliver high-quality, disruptive solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
  • 10+ years in enterprise content architecture, knowledge systems design, or HR technology.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in developing complex taxonomies, ontologies, and AI/ML applications.
  • Experience implementing AI-enhanced content solutions and using modern data technologies.
  • Proficiency with content management platforms, GraphQL, and agile methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills to influence stakeholders and drive organizational change.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Information Science or related technical field.
  • Advanced certifications in AI/ML and enterprise content management.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Go, or Java.
  • Background in conversational AI, natural language processing, or generative AI.
  • Understanding of HR domain including benefits, compensation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with enterprise integration platforms and advanced analytics tools.
  • Successful track record in vendor partnerships and strategic technology consulting.
  • Familiarity with AI ethics and responsible AI development.
