About the Role

The Escalations Specialist - Community, Regulatory & Legal Enforcement Operations at Meta focuses on reducing bad experiences for users, regulators, business, and advertisers through the enforcement of Meta’s policies. The role requires dealing with complex and sensitive cases, including exposure to graphic and objectionable content.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Interpreting and enforcing Meta’s terms of service including Community Standards and other policies.
  • Responding to escalated cases from users, regulators, and business/advertiser partners with accuracy and speed.
  • Coordinating with global cross-functional teams to develop solutions and improve processes.
  • Designing efficient processes and ensuring KPIs are met.
  • Analyzing abuse and business intelligence to detect trends and inform stakeholders.
  • Supporting reviews of graphic or sensitive content to protect business continuity.
  • Working some weekends on a shift basis as needed.

Qualifications

Required qualifications include:

  • 5+ years in online operations, escalations, or a similar environment.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience collaborating with global teams across departments such as Public Policy, Legal, and Sales.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with regulatory intelligence and content review, including graphic content.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
