Energy Program Manager

Overview

The Energy Program Manager at Meta is responsible for developing cost-effective energy solutions that support our growing fleet of data centers. This role involves creating and executing energy strategies, managing large-scale projects, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Support creation and execution of energy infrastructure strategies for Meta's data centers.
• Establish and communicate energy requirements with internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead negotiations for energy infrastructure agreements and present recommendations to leadership.
• Manage project due diligence, site development, construction, commercial agreements, and operations.
• Coordinate communications between utility partners, internal teams, and consultants.
• Build and maintain relationships with partners including site selection, strategic engineering, and legal teams.
• Identify and drive process improvements for optimized project delivery.
• Manage ad hoc energy initiatives while leading projects domestically and internationally (up to 25% travel).

Minimum Qualifications

• Working knowledge of transmission, distribution, and utility interconnection processes.
• Experience in project development and management for complex, large-scale projects.
• Proven program management skills for handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build partnerships.
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint or Keynote.
