Overview

Meta is seeking an experienced, organized and proactive individual to support the development of cost-effective energy solutions for our growing fleet of data centers. As an Energy Program Manager at Meta, you will play a vital role in creating and executing energy infrastructure strategies across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support creation and execution of energy infrastructure strategies for data centers.
  • Establish and communicate energy requirements to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead negotiations for energy infrastructure agreements and present recommendations to leadership.
  • Manage project due diligence, site development, construction, commercial agreements, and operations for energy related matters.
  • Coordinate communications between utility partners, internal teams, and consultants.
  • Build and maintain relationships with diverse internal partners including site selection, engineering, design, construction, operations, legal, and finance.
  • Identify and drive process improvements to optimize project delivery, yielding time and cost savings.
  • Lead and manage various ad hoc energy initiatives across Meta.
  • Travel domestically and internationally as needed (up to 25%).

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, environmental, or energy related discipline.
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in utility, energy project development, design/consulting, construction, or energy-intensive operations.
  • Working knowledge of transmission, distribution, and utility interconnection processes.
  • Experience in project development and management for complex, large-scale projects.
  • Strong program management skills to handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Proven communication and negotiation skills to engage suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Intermediate skills in Excel and PowerPoint and/or Keynote.
