Overview

Meta is seeking a Data Engineering Manager Analytics to lead a high-performing BI and Data Warehousing team. In this role, you will work closely with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and Software Engineers to build robust data architectures that drive insights and support product launches and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

  • Drive mission and strategy for Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing
  • Build and scale a high-quality BI and Data Warehousing team
  • Develop and manage cross-functional relationships with stakeholders
  • Manage data warehouse plans, ensuring data quality and operational efficiency
  • Design, build, and launch new data models and pipelines
  • Deliver impactful dashboards and data visualizations
  • Define and manage SLAs for production data sets and processes
  • Lead project management efforts and set a proactive BI vision

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years of work experience in applied analytics (including leadership roles)
  • 8+ years in BI and Data Warehousing
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related technical field
  • Proven experience in BI, data warehousing, and analytical projects
  • Strong project management and data architecture skills
  • Experience with SQL and object-oriented programming languages (Python, Java, etc.)
  • Proven leadership in managing teams and scaling operations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Big Data, Hadoop, and data visualization tools
  • Advanced degree such as MS or PhD
  • Strong background working on cross-functional teams for user-facing products
