About the Role

At Meta, the Content Designer crafts simple, straightforward and human experiences. Using language as a design tool, you will apply UX design, design thinking, and product strategy to create intuitive products and services used by billions worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Design, write, edit, and test clear in-product language including product flows, interface language, and education materials.
  • Create content frameworks, navigation, product naming, taxonomies and more across platforms (mobile, desktop, AR/VR, hardware, voice).
  • Apply systems thinking to define design patterns and audit existing experiences.
  • Collaborate with UX peers for feedback and work with cross-disciplinary teams including engineering, research, marketing, and data science.
  • Use Figma to edit and contribute to designs.
  • Partner with internationalization teams to ensure quality in every language.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Design or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in UX writing.
  • Experience with wireframes, design mocks, and simplifying complex ideas.
  • Skill in using technical systems for personalizing product copy and managing content.
  • Proficiency with design systems and systems thinking.

Compensation & Benefits

Base compensation ranges from $90,000 to $138,000 per year plus bonus, equity, and additional benefits.
