The Scaled Operations organization at Meta is dedicated to delivering global scaled human operations that power Meta's company priorities. This role, an Automation Solutions Architect, is a pivotal part of Meta’s strategic focus on integrating AI into operational processes. You will lead programs to transform how operations function within Scaled Operations, concentrating on top-priority opportunities identified by leadership to automate work and unlock new levels of efficiency and effectiveness. Success in this position requires effective collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, expertise in process mapping and optimization, identifying precise tooling requirements, and leading the implementation and change management of your solutions.

Meta is actively seeking a highly skilled Automation Solutions Architect to join its Scaled Operations AI Accelerator Team. This lean, entrepreneurial team focuses on designing, developing, and deploying AI-powered automation solutions to transform operational processes at scale. As an Automation Solutions Architect, you will play a critical role in assessing and optimizing processes, guiding technical design, and driving system implementation to deliver measurable impact across Scaled Operations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, map, and redesign internal operational workflows to identify pain points and opportunities for AI-driven automation.
• Collaborate with process owners and cross-functional teams to optimize processes and ensure successful automation outcomes.
• Architect end-to-end automation solutions, ensuring technical scalability, robustness, and compliance with Meta standards.
• Manage complex projects, including requirements gathering, timeline management, and deliverable oversight.
• Champion effective change management, developing and executing strategies to support employees and teams through transitions resulting from automation.
• Drive cross-functional engagement with product managers, engineers, business stakeholders, and external partners to deliver impactful solutions.
• Communicate technical concepts and project status clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stay current with AI/ML advancements and experiment with new tools and approaches to foster innovation and continuous improvement.
• Develop playbooks, reusable templates, and best practices to scale successful automations across Scaled Operations.
• Manage contract worker or vendor relationships to support technical design development and implementation.
• Track, analyze, and report on key metrics and business impact of automation initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 12+ years of experience in systems architecture and solution design.
• 8+ years of experience in process analysis or business operations.
• Experience with AI/ML or automation projects, including end-to-end solution delivery.
• Expertise in API integration and automation frameworks.
• Demonstrated skill in program management, including managing complex projects and cross-functional deliverables.
• Experience communicating effectively on technical topics.
• Experience supporting change management with cross-functional stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Meta’s internal tools and platforms (e.g., Vibe Coding, internal automation frameworks).
• Familiarity with Scaled Operations processes and FTE workflows.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Operations, or related field.
• Experience developing playbooks, reusable templates, and best practices for automation at scale.
