Automation Solutions Architect at Meta
The Scaled Operations organization at Meta is dedicated to delivering global scaled human operations that power Meta's company priorities. This Automation Solutions Architect role within the AI Accelerator Team is central to Meta’s strategic focus on integrating AI into operational processes, leading transformative programs to automate work and achieve new levels of efficiency and effectiveness.
As an Automation Solutions Architect on the small, entrepreneurial AI Accelerator Team, you will identify and lead the highest priority automation opportunities within Scaled Operations. This involves effective collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, meticulous process mapping and optimization, defining precise tooling requirements, and leading the full implementation and change management lifecycle for these solutions. Your work will directly contribute to designing, developing, and deploying AI-powered automation solutions that scale across the organization, delivering measurable impact.
Automation Solutions Architect Responsibilities:
- Analyze, map, and redesign internal operational workflows to pinpoint pain points and opportunities for AI-driven automation.
- Collaborate effectively with process owners and diverse cross-functional teams to optimize processes and ensure successful automation outcomes.
- Architect robust, end-to-end automation solutions, ensuring technical scalability, reliability, and strict compliance with Meta standards.
- Manage complex projects comprehensively, encompassing requirements gathering, timeline management, and diligent oversight of deliverables.
- Champion effective change management strategies, developing and executing plans to support employees and teams through transitions brought about by automation.
- Drive crucial cross-functional engagement with product managers, engineers, business stakeholders, and external partners to deliver high-impact solutions.
- Communicate intricate technical concepts and project status clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Stay abreast of the latest AI/ML advancements, actively experimenting with new tools and approaches to foster continuous innovation and improvement.
- Develop comprehensive playbooks, reusable templates, and best practices to facilitate the widespread scaling of successful automations across Scaled Operations.
- Manage relationships with contract workers or vendors to support the development and implementation of technical designs.
- Track, meticulously analyze, and report on key metrics and the business impact of all automation initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 12+ years of extensive experience in systems architecture and sophisticated solution design.
- 8+ years of proven experience in process analysis or business operations.
- Demonstrated experience with AI/ML or automation projects, including end-to-end solution delivery.
- Expertise in API integration and various automation frameworks.
- Proven skill in program management, including effectively managing complex projects and cross-functional deliverables.
- Experience communicating effectively on highly technical topics.
- Experience supporting significant change management initiatives with diverse cross-functional stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Meta’s internal tools and platforms (e.g., Vibe Coding, internal automation frameworks).
- Familiarity with Scaled Operations processes and full-time employee (FTE) workflows.
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
- Experience developing comprehensive playbooks, reusable templates, and best practices specifically for automation at scale.
