This presents a legal obligation that many development teams are currently unprepared for. meritt., a trusted US market leader, is expanding its European technical capabilities to directly address this critical demand.
We are actively seeking two Founding Solutions Engineers: one dedicated to the DACH region and another for French-speaking Europe. These roles are focused on building and technical leadership, not just demonstrations.
Your Impact as a Founding Solutions Engineer, DACH
As the technical face of meritt. in your region, you will collaborate closely with a Regional Sales Director to drive significant enterprise deals. Your responsibilities will include:
- Running Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to showcase meritt.'s capabilities.
- Enabling partners with technical expertise and support.
- Providing critical technical support for €500K+ enterprise deal cycles.
- Shaping the technical operational strategy for meritt. in your region from the ground up.
Technical Environment
This role demands a strong understanding of modern web technologies and development practices. You will engage directly with engineers who are passionate about their work, requiring you to earn their trust through technical credibility. The core tech stack includes:
- React
- Node
- Angular
- CI/CD pipelines

- WebDriverIO
- Puppeteer
What meritt. Seeks in a Founding Solutions Engineer, DACH
To excel in this foundational role, you should possess a unique blend of technical acumen and commercial communication skills:
- Experience: 2+ years in a Solutions or Sales Engineering role.
- Development Expertise: Real front-end development experience.
- Automation Skills: Hands-on test automation exposure.
- Language Proficiency: Native-level German for the DACH market.
- Communication: The ability to fluidly communicate both technical details to developers and commercial value to business stakeholders.
