Role Overview: Audit Certification Specialist

This role works in the third party accreditation certification group and is responsible for certificate creation, KPI tracking, and managing GFSI scheme owner databases. You will maintain, organize, and analyze critical data to drive continuous improvement and ensure client satisfaction. Collaboration with auditing staff and adherence to deadlines is a key requirement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor certification mailboxes for reports and client communications.
  • Develop and manage Google drives for certification documents.
  • Oversee client questionnaires, audit scheduling and data entry.
  • Train auditors on internal tracking tools and processes.
  • Analyze audit data and generate KPI reports for management.
  • Create accurate certificates in compliance with certification standards.
  • Maintain customer databases and support ongoing audit improvements.
  • Provide technical support and training on audit-related databases.

Qualifications and Profile

A degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry or related field is preferred with extensive experience in food testing, auditing and certification. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, database proficiency, excellent communication, and organizational skills are essential. Prior experience in managing KPIs and providing training is a plus.

Additional Information

  • Full-time role with a regular 40-hour work week.
  • Frequent travel required to client sites.
  • Competitive hourly wage ($26 - 32/hr based on experience).
