About the Python Coding Specialist - AI Trainer Role

We are actively seeking Python Coding Specialists who possess deep knowledge in algorithms, data structures, software architecture, frontend and backend development, cloud infrastructure, and systems programming, all with fluent application of Python. In this role, you will challenge advanced language models on complex topics such as asynchronous programming, RESTful API integration, memory management, object-oriented design, secure coding practices, and debugging distributed systems. A critical part of your contribution will be documenting every failure mode encountered to strengthen model reasoning and performance.
On a typical day, you will engage in conversations with the AI model, guiding it through various software engineering tasks and technical scenarios using Python. Your responsibilities include verifying logical accuracy and coding fluency, assessing overall code quality and clarity, meticulously capturing reproducible error traces, and providing constructive suggestions to enhance our prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.
An ideal candidate would hold a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in computer science, software engineering, or a closely related technical field. Significant real-world Python experience, proven technical writing abilities, or notable open-source contributions are strong indicators of a good fit. The ability to communicate clearly and metacognitively—effectively “showing your work”—is paramount to success in this position.

This is a contract position offering a pay range of $8-to-$65 per hour, with the exact rate determined after evaluating your experience, expertise, and geographic location. Final offer amounts may vary. As a contractor, you will be responsible for supplying a secure computer and high-speed internet; company-sponsored benefits such as health insurance and PTO do not apply. This is a remote, Mid-Senior Level opportunity.
