Meridial Marketplace is seeking Computer Science Specialists to train advanced language models. You will be instrumental in evolving AI, ensuring it can perform complex tasks, understand nuanced queries, and ultimately contribute to scientific discovery, education, and software development.
What You'll Do
- Challenge advanced language models on topics like algorithm optimization, model training and evaluation, network protocols, distributed systems, object-oriented design, and performance tuning.
- Document every failure mode to harden model reasoning.
- Converse with the model on coding scenarios and theoretical computer science questions.
- Verify factual accuracy and logical soundness of model responses.
- Capture reproducible error traces.
- Suggest improvements to our prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.
What We're Looking For
- Expertise in algorithms, data structures, machine learning, artificial intelligence, software engineering, computer networks, cybersecurity, cloud computing, database management, and systems architecture.
- A master's or PhD in computer science or a closely related field is ideal.
- Peer-reviewed publications, software development experience, or hands-on machine learning projects signal strong fit.
- Clear, metacognitive communication—"showing your work"—is essential.
Compensation and Work Arrangement
This is a contract position offering a pay range of $8 to $65 per hour, with the exact rate determined after evaluating your experience, expertise, and geographic location. Final offer amounts may vary. As a contractor, you will supply a secure computer and high-speed internet; company-sponsored benefits such as health insurance and PTO do not apply. This is a fully remote role.
