AI is a fundamental internal capability, not merely a product feature, central to building an internal AI system that supports deal screening, knowledge accumulation, decision support, and portfolio-level intelligence across acquisitions.

The Role of a Strategic AI Advisor

As a Strategic AI Advisor, you will be a high-level sounding board and architectural challenger, helping Mergerin define a clear, scalable internal AI direction. Your key responsibilities include:

• Defining a clear, scalable internal AI direction.
• Avoiding early structural mistakes in AI architecture.
• Making intelligent build vs. buy decisions for AI solutions.
• Ensuring long-term scalability of AI across multiple acquisitions.
• Avoiding unnecessary complexity and premature optimization in AI systems.

This is a strategic architectural and judgment role, not an execution role. Mergerin’s internal team handles day-to-day execution, building systems, managing engineers, delivering code, or operational ownership.

Areas of Advisory Support

You will provide critical guidance on various aspects of Mergerin's AI system, including:

• Agentic systems architecture design and implementation.
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) strategies.
• Internal data strategy and quality design.
• Knowledge systems and pattern accumulation.
• AI governance tailored for an acquisition platform.
• Scalability of AI solutions across diverse industries and geographies.

The ideal candidate for this role will likely possess:

• Extensive experience designing AI architectures within complex environments.
