About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic Allied Health Assistant to join our team of specialist nurses and allied health staff. This position provides quality client care under the direction of an Allied Health Professional.

In this role, you will work with clients in group or individual sessions either in centre, homebased or in the community. This role also assists with the preparation of resources required for client therapy and the maintaining of clinical equipment. You will provide quality client-focused care to patients, their family and carers, using a holistic approach, and be part of a multi-disciplinary team which requires you to provide highly responsive and flexible service to consumers and carers.

To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • Grade 2 Allied Health Assistant with Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance
  • Current Full Victorian (or equivalent) Drivers Licence
  • Strong, relevant clinical skills and experience in sub-acute/ community setting especially working in the field of Speech Pathology

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

  • A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
  • Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
