At Mercury, building our customer base has been a wild and exciting adventure—and we’re just getting started. As an Account Executive - New Verticals, you will help founders and business owners discover and thrive with Mercury.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end sales process from initial outreach to close
- Partner with the SDR team to build and nurture outbound pipelines
- Identify new lead sources and potential customers
- Convert signups into long-term Mercury champions
- Manage high volume, high-velocity sales cycles using internal tools
- Collaborate with Relationship Management to onboard complex customers
- Work cross-functionally with Partnerships to unlock new acquisition channels
- Translate customer feedback into insights for product development
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 1+ year of closing experience in a sales or Account Executive role
- Strong pipeline management and consultative selling skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset
- Passion for fintech and innovative financial tools
Compensation and Benefits
