About the Role

The Account Executive - New Verticals at Mercury is responsible for driving the expansion into new market segments such as eCommerce, Marketing Agencies, Consulting, and Staffing. You will work directly with founders, business owners, and finance teams to understand their needs and connect them with the right financial tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end sales process from outreach to close.
  • Collaborate with the SDR team to build a strong pipeline.
  • Identify new lead sources and engage potential customers.
  • Convert signups into long-term Mercury champions.
  • Manage high-velocity sales cycles using internal tools.
  • Work with Relationship Management and Partnerships teams to onboard complex customers and unlock new acquisition channels.
  • Translate customer feedback into product insights.

What We're Looking For

Candidates should have at least 1+ year of closing experience, strong consultative selling skills, excellent communication, and a passion for fintech. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required. The role demands a high quality pipeline management, a sense of urgency, and the ability to simplify complex topics.
