About the Role

The Finnish Student Health Service (YTHS) is seeking an energetic, innovative, and forward-looking professional to take responsibility for developing YTHS's communications and partnerships. In this new role, tailored for YTHS's management team, you will be at the core of collaboration, partnerships, and interaction, working to promote student well-being alongside healthcare professionals. You will report to the CEO and participate in the strategic development of the organization.

Key Responsibilities for the Communications and Partnerships Director include:

  • Implementing and continuously developing YTHS's communication strategy.
  • Ensuring people-centric and easily accessible service communication, e.g., on social media and various online platforms.
  • Clarifying YTHS's brand, increasing visibility, and investing in customer experience.
  • Building cooperation and developing interaction with key stakeholders such as universities, student organizations, and welfare regions to meet mutual needs.
  • Participating in decision-maker level stakeholder collaboration.
  • Acting as a direct supervisor for a compact team.

Desired Profile:

  • Master's degree.
  • Experience in communication and advocacy work.
  • Excellent Finnish and English language skills.
  • Ability to create and maintain collaborative relationships with various stakeholder groups.
  • Previous supervisory experience.

Valued Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the higher education sector.
  • Understanding of the social and health sector.
  • Experience in customer and organizational communication.
  • Proficiency in strategic communication.
  • Experience in developing partnerships.
