Position: Product Designer

Type: Full-time

Compensation: $130000–$250000/year

Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Own the design of core user journeys.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams.
• Drive design decisions using data and empathy.
• Create clear user experiences as product scales.
• Develop a modern visual language inspired by Notion and Tailwind.
• Work closely with the Head of Design to evolve Mercor’s philosophy.

Qualifications

Must-Have:

• 4–8+ years in product design, especially at startups.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating visual polish and UX depth.
• Experience collaborating with engineers and understanding constraints.
• Ability to engage in product discussions and push features forward.
• Autonomous operation in ambiguous environments.
• Passion for intuitive and beautiful product design.
• Enthusiasm to work directly with founders influencing product direction.

Preferred: Experience with internal tools, marketplaces, or AI-driven products.
