Role Overview

Position: Technical Writer – Contract, Remote Commitment: 10–25 hours/week Duration: Short to mid-term

Responsibilities

• Review and refine AI-generated technical content for clarity, accuracy, and structure.
• Author new documentation including product specs, API guides, and internal wikis.
• Validate content against real-world standards and enterprise documentation styles.
• Provide feedback on AI output to improve relevance and consistency.
• Collaborate asynchronously with research and platform teams as needed.

Requirements / Qualifications

Must-Have Qualifications: - 3+ years of experience in writing or editing technical documentation. - Proven ability to translate complex technical topics into accessible language. - Familiarity with structured documentation tools like Markdown, Git, and Confluence. - Detail-oriented with strong editorial judgment and domain fluency.

Preferred Qualifications: - Background in engineering, product, or technical program management.

Engagement Details

Remote and asynchronous – set your own hours. $50–100/hour depending on experience and location. Independent contractor classification. Weekly payments processed via Stripe Connect.
