This is a Contract position for a Sr. Technical Program Manager, offering compensation between $105–$125/hour. The role is located Onsite or Hybrid in Bellevue, WA.
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver programs within scope, quality, time, and budget constraints, managing moderate-probability, moderate-impact risks.
- Conduct program-level strategic planning and interact with executive management for complex issue resolution.
- Manage internal exempt and matrixed employees and contractors to deliver systems and enhancements meeting specified requirements.
- Oversee project scope definition, requirements gathering, time estimating, schedule development, budget management, and status reporting.
- Track and maintain progress reports across projects, ensuring timely follow-ups with stakeholders to drive execution and accountability.
- Proactively escalate unresolved issues to appropriate teams or leadership to ensure timely resolution and maintain project momentum.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science or computer engineering.
- PMP or PMI certification.
- Experience with project estimating, scheduling, tracking, and customer interaction in large organizations.
- Proven people management and team-building skills.
- Ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications/products.
- Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment.
- Experience with the software development lifecycle.
Preferred
- MBA or other related advanced degree.
