Position Overview: Social Services Expert
As a Social Services Expert at Mercor, you will contribute to improving AI model performance for crucial public benefit services. This is a contract position with competitive hourly compensation and a flexible commitment.
- Type: Contract
- Compensation: $40–$100/hour
- Commitment: 10+ hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Claim tasks focused on key social services and public benefit services (e.g., medical/mental health care, disability applications, health insurance, SNAP, SSDI, Medicaid).
- Write clear, realistic prompts for each task, guiding AI interaction effectively.
- Execute assigned tasks thoroughly, providing strong evidence of completion.
- Develop detailed evaluation rubrics to accurately assess AI model performance on specific tasks.
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines, continuously enhancing AI model capabilities.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Proven, real-world experience in social services and public benefits.
- Exceptional ability to craft clear, realistic, and effective AI prompts.
- Reliable access to a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks are not supported).
