Role Overview

Position: Technical Expert Project Manager (TEPM) – Contract, Remote Commitment: At least 20 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Support a Mercor Project Lead in coordinating project operations.
  • Build and maintain project dashboards in Hex to track metrics.
  • Engage experts and manage community interactions.
  • Respond to expert support tickets and follow up.
  • Host office hours and develop Q&A documentation.
  • Distribute project metrics emails and issue reminders.
  • Perform first-round data QA with lead reviewers.

Requirements / Qualifications

Must-Have: 2+ years experience in technical project management or operations; Proficiency with SQL and Hex (or similar tools); Ability to build and maintain technical project infrastructure; Strong written and verbal communication; Structured approach to quality control; Highly organized and detail-oriented.

Preferred: Experience with data annotation and rubric development.

Engagement Details & Application Process

Fully remote work with flexible scheduling. Compensation is $50/hr (USD) with weekly payouts via Stripe Connect. This is an at-will contractor role at Mercor. Direct mentorship provided by an experienced Mercor Strategic Project Lead. Initial scope varies, with potential for evergreen contracts. Applications are reviewed daily.
