About the Role

Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. Headquartered in San Francisco, our investors include Benchmark, General Catalyst, Peter Thiel, Adam D'Angelo, Larry Summers, and Jack Dorsey.

This contract position for a Senior Technical Program Manager is located onsite in Menlo Park, CA, with a duration until 12/31/2026 and compensation ranging from $135–$160/hour.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead and govern complex technical programs and projects across diverse organizational units.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocations to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Communicate program status, progress, and impediments to pertinent stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, and cross-functional teams to deliver superior products and services.
  • Manage multiple priorities within a rapidly evolving, dynamic environment.

Qualifications

Must-Have
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in technical program management or project management.
  • Robust comprehension of software development processes and methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational acumen.
  • Experience engaging with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
Preferred
  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Experience within the technology industry.
  • Familiarity with a broad portfolio of products and services.
