Position Details
Position: Research Scientist (Researcher)
Type: Contract
Compensation: $70–$80/hour
Commitment: 10–15 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Analyze technical and research documents to identify methodological advancements.
- Compare new approaches to baseline models and prior research.
- Evaluate the strength of evidence, logical structure, and argumentation in academic content.
- Summarize complex technical content in concise, structured formats.
- Flag inconsistencies, unclear reasoning, or unsupported claims to improve AI model outputs.
Qualifications
Must-have: Advanced degree (or equivalent experience) in a technical or quantitative field (e.g., computer science, biology, economics, statistics). Strong foundation in academic research, experimental design, algorithm evaluation, or statistical methods. Proven ability to critically assess academic or research writing and excellent analytical and writing skills in technical contexts.
