Role Overview

Position: AI Task Designer – Contractor Work up to 40 hours per week for a minimum of 6 weeks on a remote, flexible, and asynchronous schedule.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Mercor coordinators and client research leads.
• Develop innovative and creative AI tasks.
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for clarity and accuracy.
• Write gold-standard solutions with clear feedback.
• Work independently to meet deadlines and improve AI performance.

Requirements / Qualifications

Must-Have: Experience as technical writer, editor, research analyst, or similar roles; experience in creating Q&A, summaries, or problem-solving tasks; strong fact-checking and editing skills; excellent written communication and high attention to detail.

Preferred: Experience in reading-comprehension, curriculum design, assessment authorship, or instructional design.

Engagement Details

• Hourly contractor paid weekly via Stripe Connect.
• Remote work with flexible, asynchronous schedule.
• Applicants must be from the U.S., UK, Canada, or Australia.
