Position: Procurement & Vendor Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $75–$100/hour
Location: Remote
Role Responsibilities
- Build long-horizon sourcing tasks with deterministic rubrics to grade agent performance against verifiable ground truth.
- Develop scenarios in sourcing and diligence with RFP responses and vendor due diligence using required fields and known risk flags.
- Conduct contracting tasks, including supplier contract reviews and SOW negotiations with defined commercial outcomes.
- Manage vendors through scorecards with defined metrics and renewal analyses with ground-truth recommendations.
- Work independently on challenging scenarios requiring long sessions of focus.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- 3+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, or vendor management.
- Expertise in vendor due diligence, SOW negotiation, SaaS pricing models, supplier security review, or procurement-tool administration (Coupa, Ariba, Zip).
- Comfortable with procurement artifacts: RFPs, vendor scorecards, contract summaries, negotiation plans.
- Clear written communication; articulate reasoning step by step and encode it into deterministic rubrics.
