Position Overview

The Network Deployment and Operations Engineer is a contract role that provides technical and operational guidance for IP or Optical network deployments. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage vendor relationships, and ensure quality and timely project delivery.

Role Responsibilities

• Guide technical operations for IP/Optical network deployments
• Facilitate technical discussions with cross-functional teams
• Build and execute deployment scopes, schedules, and resource allocations
• Define and track key performance indicators
• Manage relationships with vendors and partners
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years in IP or Optical network deployment and operations
• Proven track record with network infrastructure projects
• Technical expertise in IP networking protocols and architectures
• Strong program management, communication, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Compensation & Legal

Compensation is competitive on a contract basis. Qualified applicants will be considered pursuant to the California Fair Chance Act.
