The Opportunity: Multilingual Prompt Designer

This is a contract position with a compensation range of $25–$30/hour, requiring a commitment of 20+ hours/week for 2+ months. This role is fully remote.

Role Responsibilities

• Create detailed prompts in German and/or English with clear constraints and instructions.
• Ensure natural phrasing and cultural relevance for German-speaking users.
• Establish high-level expectations for correct responses in German consumer contexts.
• Develop comprehensive rubrics that account for linguistic nuance and cultural conventions.
• Run prompts through AI models and meticulously assess outputs for accuracy, fluency, and cultural fit in German.
• Compare German results against English outputs where necessary to ensure quality.
• Collaborate actively in QA review processes to maintain consistency and reliability across German-language benchmarks.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines and continuously improve AI model performance.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Native-level fluency in written German with strong reading and writing ability in English.
• Completed or in-progress BS or BA degree from a reputable institution.
• Demonstrated strong writing and critical thinking skills.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Significant familiarity and hands-on experience with ChatGPT or similar large language models.
• Must be based in Germany or demonstrate the ability to reliably produce Germany-specific, culturally accurate German content.

Preferred

• Prior experience in teaching, research, editing, or academic writing.
• Experience in creating evaluation criteria, rubrics, or grading guidelines.
• Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, or model evaluation methodologies.

Application Process

The application process is straightforward and typically takes 20–30 minutes to complete:

• Complete an AI-led interview (approximately 15 minutes).
• Complete a 45-minute written assessment focusing on writing and rubric creation.
• Successful candidates will be invited to work on the project.
