This is a contract position for a Multilingual Prompt Designer, offering compensation of $25–$30 per hour. The role is remote, with a duration of 2+ months and a commitment of 20+ hours per week.

Role Responsibilities for Multilingual Prompt Designer

• Create detailed prompts in German and/or English, incorporating specific constraints and instructions.
• Ensure prompts feature natural phrasing and maintain relevance for German-speaking users.
• Establish high-level expectations for correct AI responses within German consumer contexts.
• Develop comprehensive rubrics that meticulously account for linguistic nuances and cultural conventions.
• Run prompts through various models and rigorously assess their outputs for accuracy, fluency, and cultural fit in German, comparing results against English outputs when necessary.
• Actively collaborate in QA review processes to ensure consistency and reliability across German-language benchmarks before their integration into official evaluations.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines, consistently contributing to the improvement of AI model performance.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Native-level fluency in written German, coupled with strong reading and writing abilities in English.
• Hold a BS or BA degree from a reputable institution, either completed or currently in progress.
• Possess strong writing and critical thinking skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and consistently meet deadlines.
• Significant familiarity with ChatGPT or similar generative AI tools.
• Be based in Germany or possess the capability to reliably produce Germany-specific, culturally accurate German content.

Preferred

• Prior experience in teaching, research, content editing, or academic writing.
• Experience in creating evaluation criteria, rubrics, or grading guidelines.
• Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, or AI model evaluation methodologies.

• Complete an AI-led interview, which typically lasts about 15 minutes.
• Undertake a 45-minute written assessment focused on your writing skills and ability to create detailed rubrics.
• If selected based on these steps, you will receive an invitation to commence work on the project.
