Position Details

Role: Biology PhD

Type: Contract

Compensation: $90–$110/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–20 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

  • Collaborate asynchronously with a team of highly qualified Biology experts.
  • Craft, solve, and review challenging problems with real-world applications.
  • Review and curate data on projects with AI labs.
  • Work independently to support researchers with additional tasks.
  • Ensure high-quality outputs through detailed evaluation and feedback.

Qualifications

  • Master's or PhD in Biology from a top US university.
  • Outstanding publications or relevant professional experience.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent proficiency in English.
  • Based in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, UK, or Australia.

Start Date & Interview Process

Start Date is November; applications reviewed on a rolling basis. Complete a short domain expertise interview and a subsequent interview with a Mercor team member.

Compensation & Legal

Legally classified as an hourly contractor. Paid weekly via Stripe Connect.
