Role Overview

Position: Engineering Professional – Independent Contractor, Remote Commitment: Part-time ~20 hours/week (potential to extend to 40 hours/week) Duration: 1–2 months Join an exciting collaboration with a top AI research lab to contribute to developing and evaluating advanced AI systems that replicate real-world engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Create and assess complex problems in various engineering subdomains including mechanical engineering.
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for conceptual accuracy and technical rigor.
• Provide clear written feedback on engineering problem sets, designs, and solutions.
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and engineers.
• Ensure technical accuracy and academic precision in all engineering content.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.

Engagement Details

• Compensation: Competitive hourly rate ($65-$80 USD/hr) based on experience.
• Contract Type: Independent contractor.
• Schedule: Fully remote and asynchronous – flexible working hours.
• Payment: Daily payment via Stripe Connect.
