Role Overview

Position: Technical Writer – Contract, Remote Commitment: 10–25 hours/week Duration: Short to mid-term

Collaborate on content-focused projects with Fortune 500 companies and unicorn startups. Support AI systems by generating and validating high-quality technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review and refine AI-generated technical content for clarity and accuracy.
• Author new documentation including product specs, API guides, and internal wikis.
• Validate content against real-world standards and enterprise styles.
• Provide feedback on AI output to improve relevance and consistency.
• Collaborate asynchronously with research and platform teams.

Requirements / Qualifications

Must-Have:

• 3+ years of technical documentation writing or editing experience.
• Ability to translate complex topics into accessible language.
• Familiarity with Markdown, Git, and Confluence.
• Detail-oriented with strong editorial judgment and domain fluency.

Preferred: Background in engineering, product, or technical program management.

Engagement Details

This is a remote, asynchronous independent contractor role. Compensation is $50–100/hour depending on experience and location. Payments are processed weekly via Stripe Connect.
