About the Junior Software Engineer Role
This freelance Junior Software Engineer position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge AI research by refining and validating AI-generated content and algorithms. With a flexible commitment of 15–25 hours/week, extending up to 40 hours, this role is ideal for those seeking immediate engagement in a dynamic environment for 1–2 months.
Role Responsibilities
- Review and refine AI-generated prompts, responses, and code.
- Validate algorithms and software concepts for technical accuracy.
- Provide structured feedback on solution quality and clarity.
- Tag and organize content by topic, difficulty, or language.
- Support benchmarking efforts to assess AI model capabilities.
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- 2+ years of experience in software engineering, technical research, or educational content development.
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in languages like Python, JavaScript, Java, or C++.
- Experience with debugging, testing, and validating code.
- Comfortable with technical writing and attention to detail.
