About the Role at Mercor

This is a contract position for an Investment Banking Expert, offering $130/hour with a minimum commitment of four weeks and 10+ hours/week. This role is fully remote.
Role Responsibilities
- Evaluate the accuracy and depth of financial models to strengthen reasoning and rigor in model outputs.
- Review complex investment banking content for alignment with domain principles and methodologies.
- Provide clear, structured feedback to AI research teams to improve training data quality and downstream performance.
- Develop evaluation rubrics and benchmarks for assessing AI-generated financial tasks and solutions.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure consistency, relevance, and coverage across datasets.
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- At least 2 years of experience in top investment banking firms.
- Experience in Financial Modeling, Pitch Decks, Investment/Analysis Summaries and Memos, or Company/Industry Analysis.
Compensation & Legal
This is an hourly contractor position, paid weekly.
