Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. The company is backed by top investors and is headquartered in San Francisco. This role is for an Information Security Analyst (Cybersecurity Professional) on a contract basis.
Position Details
Type: Contract Compensation: $100/hr Location: Remote Commitment: 20+ hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Evaluate and assess content for potential security concerns in an AI context.
- Review and analyze security patterns to enhance AI model security.
- Collaborate asynchronously with cybersecurity experts.
- Utilize Python and data analysis tools to interact with large databases.
- Work independently to improve AI model performance and security analysis.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of cybersecurity experience.
- Strong grasp of cybersecurity concepts, web security, and attack patterns.
- Experience in offensive cybersecurity, CTFs, or penetration testing (OSCP Certification required).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Fluency in English and eligible citizenship (U.S., Canada, New Zealand, UK, or Australia).
- Ability to pass an enhanced background check.
Start Date & Interview Process
Start Date: Late February (exact dates to be confirmed). Interview: Includes a short interview and questionnaire with up to 1 hour of onboarding time, which is paid if hired.
