Position: Visual Designer

This is a contract role with competitive hourly compensation ranging from $75 to $90.

Role Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers to deliver high-quality iconography and visual assets.
• Support the creation and maintenance of icon libraries in multiple sizes and themes.
• Develop pixel-perfect, grid-aligned icons that reflect the brand identity.
• Extend and document icon standards and usage rules in collaboration with design leads.
• Translate product needs into visually compelling and engaging designs.
• Incorporate feedback to continuously elevate design quality.

Qualifications

Must-Have: 4+ years of professional experience in graphic/visual design across web, desktop, and mobile. Proven experience designing and implementing icon systems at scale. Expert-level proficiency with Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other tools. Strong understanding of vector construction, grid systems, and accessibility considerations. Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred: Experience contributing to a design system, understanding of design-to-dev handoff practices and QA, and familiarity with 3D design and motion/animation.
