Position: Finance Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $77–$85/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 20 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Author, review, and annotate technical tasks to evaluate AI model performance on finance problems.
- Produce original problem sets grounded in valuation models, payoff diagrams, and financial statements.
- Write reference solutions and apply structured quality checks to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with AI research teams to improve task quality and throughput.
- Work independently and asynchronously with a flexible schedule to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- PhD in Finance or Financial Economics, or CFA with 3+ years investment or research experience, or BA/BS in Finance with 5+ years applied finance, investment, or corporate finance experience.
- Working fluency in at least two of: corporate finance, asset pricing, derivatives, risk management, financial statement analysis.
- Comfortable reading and interpreting valuation models, payoff diagrams, and financial statements.
- Clear technical writing; able to articulate reasoning step-by-step in written form.
