Position: Education Specialist
Type: Contract
Compensation: $50–$55/hour
Commitment: 10–20 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Leverage classroom experience to shape the future of AI in education.
- Contribute insights to develop safe large language models for educators and students.
- Collaborate with AI research teams to ensure models reflect expert educational practices.
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet project goals.
- Engage in flexible hours to accommodate teaching responsibilities.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Licensed teacher in the United States or internationally.
- 3+ years of full-time teaching experience.
- At least a Master's degree in education or a STEM subject area.
- Experience designing and delivering rigorous, standards-aligned instruction.
- Strong written communication skills and a passion for education.
Preferred
- Public or private school teachers actively teaching STEM or Humanities subjects.
- Department heads or instructional coaches in STEM or Humanities areas.
- Former teachers with continued ties to education.
Start Date
Immediate, with rolling start dates thereafter.
