Position: Education Consultant
This contract role as an Education Consultant involves designing and evaluating education-related prompts for AI-generated responses. You will ensure pedagogical soundness, clarity, and alignment with educational best practices, creating reference examples that reflect accurate instruction and real-world classroom communication. The ideal candidate will identify reasoning gaps, instructional weaknesses, and factual inaccuracies in AI outputs, collaborating asynchronously with other subject matter experts and reviewers.
Role Responsibilities
- Design realistic education-related prompts covering teaching strategies, learning objectives, assessments, and classroom dynamics.
- Evaluate AI-generated responses for pedagogical soundness, clarity, and alignment with educational best practices.
- Create reference examples that reflect accurate instruction and real-world classroom communication.
- Identify reasoning gaps, instructional weaknesses, and factual inaccuracies in AI outputs.
- Collaborate asynchronously with other subject matter experts and reviewers using shared documents and structured feedback.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Advanced degree in education or a related field (e.g., M.Ed., Ed.D., or PhD in education).
- 3+ years of experience in teaching, curriculum design, educational research, or teacher training.
- Familiarity with instructional standards, assessment frameworks, and differentiated learning approaches.
- Strong analytical, writing, and pedagogical evaluation skills.
- Comfort working across multiple education levels and content domains.
