Type: Contract
Compensation: $60–$100/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 20–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Design experiments and gather data for machine learning applications.
- Preprocess and analyze large datasets to build predictive models.
- Evaluate and improve AI models using TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy production-ready solutions.
- Write, review, and validate prompt-based questions for AI system training.
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and improve model performance.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- 3+ years of professional experience in data science or applied analytics.
- Highly skilled in Python and Jupyter notebooks.
- Experience using libraries including numpy, pandas, scipy, sympy, scikit-learn, torch, tensorflow.
- Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or related field in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, UK, or Australia.
- Strong background in exploratory data analysis, statistical inference, machine learning workflows, model evaluation, feature engineering, data preprocessing, data wrangling, A/B testing, experimentation, or causal inference.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to details.
