Data Engineer at Mercor

This is a Contract position for a Data Engineer, offering compensation of $80–$110/hour, with a remote work arrangement.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain architectures and data solutions to enhance the organization's data assets.
- Collaborate with the Survey Data and Marketing Data Science team to translate needs into analytical solutions, improving marketing efficacy through automated reporting.
- Design and develop data models, pipelines, dashboards, and other analytic solutions for marketing programs.
- Solve data integration problems using optimal ETL patterns, frameworks, and query techniques from structured and unstructured data sources.
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and marketers to represent key data insights meaningfully.
- Implement security models based on privacy requirements, ensuring safeguards are followed and addressing data quality issues.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
- 5+ years of experience working with data, including roles such as data analyst, data scientist, or Data Engineer.
- 5+ years of experience with SQL, ETL, data modeling, data visualization, and at least one programming language (Python preferred).
Preferred
- Experience in Marketing Analytics or Marketing Technology.
