Position: Data Engineer

Type: Contract

Compensation: $70–$85/hour

Location: Onsite

Commitment: Full-time

Role Responsibilities

• Manage data labeling workflows and extract labels into datasets.
• Maintain large-scale, efficient data processing pipelines for billions of images.
• Ensure governance of datasets with focus on access, retention, and privacy.
• Collaborate with engineers to identify model gaps and prepare data.
• Scale validated evaluation protocols with product development teams.
• Work independently and manage time to improve AI model performance.

Qualifications

Must-Have:

• Basic knowledge of Python and SQL.
• Understanding of computer vision and generative models.
• Experience with data ETL workflows and pipelines.
• Associate's degree or equivalent training in STEM fields.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.

Preferred:

• Prior industrial experience in software development and testing.
• Research experience in human-computer interaction.
• Experience at a major technology company.
