Position Overview
The Data Collection Specialist role is a contract position with flexible hours and is fully remote. You will record screen sessions demonstrating tasks, annotate screenshots using bounding boxes, and follow detailed staging instructions to set up UI states. This role requires using a custom capture tool for consistent workflow recording while adhering to strict guidelines to ensure high data quality.
Role Responsibilities
- Record screen sessions with clear verbal narration.
- Annotate screenshots by drawing precise bounding boxes.
- Follow staging instructions to set up specific UI states.
- Use a custom capture tool for accurate data capture.
- Work independently to meet tight deadlines.
Qualifications
Must-Have: Familiarity with professional software tools (Blender, Godot, GIMP, R, Wings 3D), fluent English, detail-oriented, and a physical Mac with capability to create a new macOS user profile.
Preferred: Experience in data collection, annotation, QA, and workflow documentation. Ability to adapt to new tools and staged environments.
