Position: Analytics & Business Intelligence Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $70–$100/hour
Location: Remote
Role Responsibilities
- Build long-horizon analytics tasks with deterministic rubrics to evaluate agent performance against verifiable ground truth.
- Develop scenarios for ad-hoc analysis, experimentation, and measurement with checkable answers and no subjective judgment.
- Create SQL queries and A/B test readouts with defined metrics, ensuring accuracy and alignment with ground-truth values.
- Design and implement funnel and cohort analyses with expected numerical outputs.
- Work independently and asynchronously to focus on challenging scenarios and improve AI model performance.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- BS or MS in a quantitative field.
- 3+ years as a data/BI analyst at a data-mature company.
- Expertise in advanced SQL, experimentation and A/B testing, metric design, and BI-tool development (Looker, Tableau, Mode, Hex, Metabase).
- Ability to read and produce analytics artifacts: SQL queries, dashboards, experiment readouts, metric specs.
- Clear written communication to articulate reasoning and encode it into deterministic rubrics.
Compensation & Legal
Hourly contractor. Strong contributors are promoted based on task quality and throughput.
