Position: Chemistry Expert
This is a contract position with a compensation rate of $60–$80 per hour, requiring a commitment of 20–40 hours per week for approximately 2 months. The role is fully remote.
Role Responsibilities
- Write original and advanced IChO-style chemistry problems designed to challenge frontier AI models.
- Evaluate AI-generated solutions for correctness, clarity, and style, specifically identifying areas where models fail.
- Identify logical flaws, incomplete reasoning, or insufficiently rigorous proofs within AI solutions.
- Provide clear, concise, and correct solutions and detailed chain-of-thought reasoning, utilizing proper LaTeX formatting.
- Maintain extremely high standards of precision and problem difficulty in all generated content.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Master’s or PhD in chemistry (or a related field), or proven experience as an Olympiad participant or medalist in the IChO or equivalent competitions.
- Deep understanding of core theoretical and experimental concepts within your chemistry domain.
- Exceptional ability to articulate complex reasoning and derivations clearly in written form.
- Strong capability to critically evaluate the rigor and complexity of chemistry problems.
- Rigorous attention to detail when verifying solutions.
Start Date
Rolling start dates are available, with setup typically completed within 1–2 days of approval.
