Role Overview

Position: Accounting and Audit Professional – Freelance, Remote Commitment: 15–25 hours/week (flexible up to 40 hours/week) Duration: 1–2 months Leverage financial expertise to evaluate and refine AI outputs, shaping intelligent systems for finance and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Review and refine AI-generated accounting analyses, audit reports, and financial statements.
  • Validate AI outputs for compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and other standards.
  • Provide structured feedback on clarity, accuracy, and adherence to accounting principles.
  • Tag and organize content by accounting topic, industry sector, or complexity level.
  • Support benchmarking efforts to assess AI model capabilities in financial domains.

Requirements / Qualifications

Must-Have Qualifications: - 2+ years of professional accounting experience at top-tier public accounting firms or Fortune 500 companies. - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related quantitative field. - Professional certifications such as CPA, CA, CMA, or ACCA. - Strong technical accounting proficiency, including GAAP and IFRS knowledge. - Expertise in core accounting processes like financial reporting and tax compliance.

Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in specialized areas such as forensic or government accounting. - Master’s degree in Accounting or an MBA with an accounting concentration. - Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Engagement Details

Competitive hourly rate: $40–$90 USD/hr (dependent on experience and location). Independent contractor with daily payment via Stripe Connect. Fully remote and asynchronous schedule.
