Position: AI Tutor – Video Game Specialist

Type: Full-time

Compensation: $90,000–$200,000/year

Location: Based in Palo Alto, CA (in-office, 5 days per week) or fully Remote

Commitment: Typical hours: 9:00am–5:30pm PST during training, then aligned with your local timezone

Role Responsibilities

  • Utilize proprietary tools for labeling and annotating gaming data.
  • Provide high-quality feedback on gameplay, creativity, and user experience.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design improved annotation workflows.
  • Analyze and critique AI-generated games for functionality and balance.
  • Test and iterate on AI game content to boost model understanding.

Qualifications

Must-Have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Game Design, Computer Science, Interactive Media, or related field.
  • Proven experience in game design or development with a strong portfolio.
  • Excellent evaluative skills regarding gameplay, storytelling, and mechanics.
  • Experience in playtesting or refining game prototypes.
  • Outstanding communication along with analytical and creative judgment.
  • Passion for the evolution of AI in game design.

Preferred:

  • Experience in AI-assisted game development or playtesting.
  • Extensive gaming experience across various genres and platforms.

Compensation & Legal

Competitive pay ranging from $90,000 to $200,000 annually for U.S.-based professionals. International candidates have available compensation ranges upon request. Access to medical benefits subject to residence.
