Role Overview

Mercor Hiring is collaborating with a leading AI lab on a project designed to advance the performance of cutting-edge AI models. As an Annotation Experts, you will analyze short video clips and/or images, producing structured annotations that capture key details such as subjects, objects, environments, audio cues, temporal dynamics, mood, and storytelling elements.

Ideal Qualifications

  • Experience in roles like movie producers, film editors, screenwriters, archivists, and media analysts.
  • Ability to apply judgment in describing scenes and emotional cues.
  • Strong attention to detail with clear documentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

Additional Details

  • Direct collaboration with Mercor project leads.
  • Rolling start within 1-2 days of application.
  • Up to 40 hours per week, fully remote and asynchronous.
  • Project duration: minimum of 4–5 weeks with potential extension.
  • Legally classified as an hourly contractor and weekly payment via Stripe Connect.
  • Screening includes a short interview and assessment; applicants from the U.S., UK, and Canada only.
